Mango began with a simple frustration: most outdoor speakers look like they were designed for a toolbox, not a beach towel.
We wanted to build the opposite. An object you would happily leave out on a table, that feels as good in the hand as it sounds in the open air. Something warm, tactile, and a little playful, in a category that had grown cold and utilitarian.
The result is a compact, waterproof speaker shaped like a flattened fruit, wrapped in woven acoustic fabric, with a soft glow that breathes at its base. It pairs, it stacks, it floats. And it comes in flavors, not just colors.
Designed in London, made for everywhere
Mango is developed by Onmotio, a small product studio based in London. Our focus is the intersection of sound, material, and everyday joy. We believe a speaker is furniture as much as it is electronics, and that good industrial design should make you smile before you even press play.
Every detail of Mango was considered: the single-piece translucent control membrane that lights from within, the three sculpted feet that let units stack into a tower, the recyclable woven shell, the USB-C port hidden behind a soft sealed pastille. Nothing is accidental.
What we care about
- Warmth over coldness. Tropical, acidic, alive. Sound you can taste.
- Honesty in materials. Real woven fabric, real soft-touch polymer, real light.
- Objects that last. Repairable thinking, recyclable packaging, a two-year warranty.
- Design that disappears. The best interface is the one you never have to think about.
