Cookie policy.
Last updated: [date of publication]
This page is a draft prepared for launch. It will be reviewed by a lawyer before Mango goes on sale.
In short
- We only store what the site needs to work, such as your cart.
- No advertising cookies, no tracking across sites.
- No audience measurement runs today. If we add it, it will only run if you accept it.
Cookies and browser storage
A cookie is a small file a website saves in your browser. Our site does not set cookies itself: it uses your browser's local storage and session storage, which work in a similar way and follow the same rules. Session storage is cleared when you close the tab; local storage stays until you or the site clear it.
Storage that is strictly necessary for a service you ask for, like keeping your cart, does not need your consent. Anything else, like audience measurement, needs it first.
What we store
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
mango.panier.v1 | Local storage | Keeps your cart: colours and quantities | Until you empty your cart or clear your browser data | Essential |
mango.consent.v1 | Local storage | Remembers your cookie choice and its date, so we do not ask again on every page | 12 months, then we ask you again. Sooner if you change your choice or clear your browser data | Essential |
mango.commande | Session storage | Keeps the order you have just placed or are looking at, for the confirmation and Order status pages | Until you close the tab | Essential |
mango.commandes | Local storage | Lets the Order status page find the orders placed in this browser | Until you clear your browser data | Essential |
| [names of the measurement cookies] | Cookie | Audience measurement. Not active today. | [duration, 13 months at most] | With your consent |
None of this is shared with us or anyone else: it stays on your device.
Audience measurement
Today, no audience measurement tool is installed on this site. We plan to add one, [audience measurement tool], to understand which pages are useful and improve them.
It will only run if you choose "Accept analytics" in the cookie banner. If you choose "Essential only", or make no choice, nothing is measured. When it is installed, this page will list the exact cookies it uses and their duration.
Third parties
Our typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. This sets no cookie, but your browser sends your IP address to Google to fetch them. Our host, Cloudflare, may use strictly necessary security measures to protect the site from abuse.
The links to our social media pages are plain links: nothing from those networks is loaded until you click them. See our privacy policy for more on these providers.
Your choice
You can also clear the site's storage from your browser settings at any time. This empties your cart and resets your cookie choice.
