Terms of sale.

This page is a draft prepared for launch. It will be reviewed by a lawyer before Mango goes on sale.

In short

The full terms follow. Here is what matters most:

  • Nothing is charged when you order. Your payment is taken on the day your Mango leaves the warehouse.
  • You can cancel for free at any time before shipping, from the Order status page or by email.
  • If shipping slips by more than 4 weeks after the announced window, we tell you by email.
  • Prices include VAT. Delivery is free and tracked to the 27 EU countries, the United Kingdom and Switzerland.
  • You have 14 days to withdraw by law. We extend that to 30 days after delivery, with a free return label.
  • Two years of legal guarantee, plus a two year Mango warranty on top.

1. The seller

Mango is sold by [Company legal name], [Registered office address], registered under [Company register and number], VAT number [VAT identification number] ("we", "us").

You can reach us at hello@mangosound.com. We reply within 1 business day, Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 18:00 CET.

2. Scope

These terms apply to every order placed on this website by a consumer, meaning a person buying for personal use and not for a trade, business or profession. They apply to deliveries in the 27 member states of the European Union, the United Kingdom and Switzerland.

The terms in force on the day you place your order are the ones that apply to it. We send them to you with your order confirmation, so you keep a copy. The contract is in English.

Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under the consumer protection law of the country where you live.

3. Pre-orders

Mango is sold on pre-order. It ships in autumn 2026, within the window shown on the product page and at checkout: November 2026. The window shown when you order is the one we commit to.

The main features and technical specifications of Mango are described on the product page. Product photos show the speaker as accurately as we can; the colour of the light and of the shell may look slightly different on your screen.

You can order up to 9 speakers of each colour per order.

4. Prices

Prices are in euros and include VAT at the rate of the country of delivery. The pre-order price is 129 € per speaker, VAT included. The retail price after launch will be 149 €.

Delivery is free. For the United Kingdom and Switzerland, import duties and taxes are included in the price and paid by us, so there is nothing to pay on delivery.

The price you pay is the one shown in your order confirmation, even if our prices change before your Mango ships.

5. Placing your order

  1. Choose

    Add one or more colours to your cart and review it.

  2. Check out

    Enter your email address, delivery address and payment method. Check the summary, which shows the total price and the shipping window, and correct anything if needed.

  3. Confirm

    Click the button that confirms your pre-order. This is an order with an obligation to pay, but payment is only taken when your order ships.

  4. Reserved

    We email you a confirmation with your order number (MG-26 followed by five digits), a summary and these terms. The contract is formed when you receive this email.

We may refuse an order in the case of an obvious pricing error, an unusual quantity that suggests resale, or a dispute about a previous order. If we do, we tell you by email and nothing is charged.

6. Payment

Payments are handled by [payment provider]. You can pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay. We never see or store your full card number.

When you order, your payment method is saved with our payment provider. It is charged only once, on the day your order leaves the warehouse, for the amount shown in your order confirmation. We email you when that happens, with your tracking link.

If the payment fails at that moment, we email you and keep your order for 7 days so you can update your payment method. After that, the order is cancelled and nothing is charged.

7. Cancelling or changing before shipping

Until your order ships, you can cancel it at any time, for any reason and at no cost, from the Order status page or by writing to hello@mangosound.com. As nothing has been charged, there is nothing to refund.

Until shipping, you can also change the colour of your speakers or your delivery address, in the same way.

If, for a reason beyond our control, we cannot deliver Mango at all, we cancel your order, tell you by email, and nothing is charged.

8. Delays

About 4 weeks before shipping, we email you to confirm that your Mango is in production, with its planned shipping date.

If shipping is delayed by more than 4 weeks after the announced window, we tell you by email with a new date. You can then cancel for free, as you can at any time before shipping. This does not limit the rights the law gives you when a delivery is late.

9. Delivery

We deliver to the 27 countries of the European Union, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, with free tracked delivery by DHL, from our warehouse in Venlo, the Netherlands.

  • European Union: 2 to 5 business days after shipping.
  • United Kingdom and Switzerland: 3 to 7 business days after shipping.

The risk of loss or damage passes to you when you, or a person you have named other than the carrier, take physical possession of the order. If a parcel arrives damaged or is lost in transit, contact us and we send a replacement or refund you in full.

Please check your parcel when it arrives. If something is missing or damaged, tell us within a reasonable time, ideally with a photo. This does not affect your legal rights.

10. Right of withdrawal and 30 day returns

By law, you have 14 days from delivery to withdraw from your purchase without giving any reason. How it works, the model form and an online form are on the Right of withdrawal page. This right applies in the European Union and the United Kingdom; we grant it in Switzerland too.

On top of that, Mango extends the return period to 30 days after delivery, for any reason, with a free prepaid return label. The speaker may have been used, as long as it is complete and undamaged. We refund you within 14 days of receiving the return, on your original payment method. Details are on the Shipping and returns page.

The two coexist: during the first 14 days you can rely on whichever is better for you.

11. Legal guarantee of conformity

We are responsible for any lack of conformity of the product that exists at delivery and becomes apparent within 2 years of delivery, under the law of your country of residence. In the European Union, a defect that appears within the first year (two years in some countries) is presumed to have existed at delivery, unless we prove otherwise.

If Mango is not in conformity, you can ask for it to be repaired or replaced, free of charge. If that is impossible, disproportionate, or not done within a reasonable time, you can ask for a price reduction or a full refund.

In the United Kingdom, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply. In Switzerland, the warranty of the Swiss Code of Obligations applies for 2 years from delivery.

12. Mango warranty

In addition to the legal guarantee, and without affecting it, we give a free 2 year commercial warranty from delivery. It covers manufacturing defects, water entering the speaker within the limits of its IP67 rating, and a battery that falls below 80 % of its original capacity within 2 years .

It does not cover accidental damage, hot water, hot tubs above 40 °C, saunas, pressure washers, immersion deeper than 1 m or longer than 30 minutes, normal wear of the fabric, or modifications. The full terms and how to make a claim are on the Warranty page.

13. Liability

We are responsible for the correct performance of the contract. We are not liable when a failure is caused by you, by an unforeseeable act of a third party, or by an event beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or where the law does not allow it to be limited.

14. Complaints and mediation

If something goes wrong, write to us first at hello@mangosound.com, with your order number. We do our best to find a solution quickly.

If we cannot agree, you can refer the dispute, free of charge, to the consumer mediator: [name, address and website of the consumer mediator]. Mediation is voluntary and you remain free to go to court.

15. Applicable law and courts

These terms are governed by [governing law]. This choice does not deprive you of the protection given by the mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you live.

You may bring a claim before the courts of the country where you live or of the country where we are established. We can only bring a claim against you before the courts of the country where you live.

16. Personal data

We use your personal data to process your order and keep you informed about it. How, and what your rights are, is explained in our privacy policy.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when the law changes. The version that applies to your order is the one in force on the day you placed it, and the one sent with your confirmation.
